Even though you don’t have a microwave or stove, you must have a water heater in your dorm. This is what you’re going to use for cooking pasta in a short-cut way without using a microwave or stove.

Here is the process you must follow!

Step 1: Take the Right Amount of Boiling Water

Take two cups of water for boiling in your electric water heater. The measurement of the water will depend on the amount of pasta you’re going to cook.

Boil a double cup of water when you’re going to cook a cup of pasta.

Step 2: Add Salt with The Water

Add a little amount of salt with the water before boiling it. This will make the pasta easier to cook without sticking. Also, the salt will add to the taste of the cooked pasta.

Step 3: Heat the Water At 90 To 180 Degree Celsius

Connect the water heater with the electricity and heat the water from 90 to 180 degrees Celsius.

The pasta remains hard before cooking, so it needs at least 90-degree Celsius hot water. To get an accurate and quick result, you should make the water temperature 180 degrees Celsius.

Step 4: Bring Out the Water Heater from The Electric Connection

When the water reaches accurate hotness, unplug the water heater from the electric connection. Make sure the water is too hot when taking out the stove.

Step 5: Take A Safe Container for Cooking the Pasta

Now, take a cup of pasta in a box or container with a lid. Make sure the container isn’t made of plastic material. The best choice would be using a stainless-steel box for storing the hot water.

Also, make sure your dorm has a room temperature when you’re going to cook pasta. Now, place the box on a safe material, preferably the wooden mat.

Step 6: Stir the Pasta and Seal the Container

After that, pour the 180-degree steaming water into the container of pasta. Stir the pasta with a spoon continuously. It’ll prevent pasta from sticking with each other due to the smoke.

Seal the container immediately after stirring pasta twice or thrice.

Step 7: Let the Pasta Cooked

let the pasta sit and steamed into a sealed container for 10 to 15 minutes. Open the box and test whether the pasta has been cooked or not.

Try to waste the steam of water from the container as little as possible. Cover up the box quickly for storing the water steam as long as possible.

Step 8: Serve the Cooked Pasta

If the pasta hasn’t cooked, then add some more hot water and seal the container. Afterward, serve the cooked pasta with the tasting salt and other sauces as you like.

If you’re on a high mountain trip or the sea beach and want to eat pasta, how would you cook it?

Luckily, pasta is such a recipe that you can cook sitting on the mountain also. You don’t need a stove or microwave; just somehow make a fire.

Step 1: First, make a fire for boiling water.

Step 2: Boil water on the fireplace taking in a stainless can.

Step 3: Put the pasta into steaming water. Make sure the amount of pasta doesn’t exceed the amount of steamed water.

The amount of pasta must have to be ⅔ portions of the water in the can.

Step 4: Add some salt with the boiling pasta if you have it in your bag. To add the flavor, you can use other spices in the pasta, whatever you have in your travel bag.

Step 5: Stir the pasta into the water with a stick until it gets cooked properly. This step won’t let the pasta stick with each other when cooking.

Step 6: After 5 minutes, take out pasta from the can and see whether it has been cooked or not.

Generally, the pasta takes 8 to 12 minutes to cook properly, depending on the heat level. But within this time, you have to taste the cooking level of pasta every few minutes.

Step 7: When the pasta gets cooked, take out the can from the fireplace, and serve the pasta into a bowl.
